The Registrars Department main functions include the following;
- Direct and supervise all functions of the secretariat
- Servicing disciplinary, executive and Council committees
- Facilitating policy formulation of all matters related to Nursing and Midwifery in the Country
- Building financial base for the Council and develop relationships with donor agencies and International Health Organizations
- In liaison with the Council, communicate to the Minister of Health on information related to health
- Leading the management team in developing and submission of annual budgets
